Moffat is a Conservation Town situated in the Upper Annan Valley of Dumfries and Galloway. Three minutes from the M74, it is designated Europe's first Dark Sky Town due to its low levels of light pollution. It is ideally located to explore the Moffat Hills and River Annan or just wander the quaint Station Park and browse the artisan shops, new distillery, and observatory.
The Academy
The apartment is located in the prominent former Moffat Academy, now converted to private residential apartments. The red sandstone building retains many original features, and benefits from private parking and landscaped gardens.

The Annandale Apartment consists of an open plan kitchen and lounge, with breakfast bar. The wc and shower room features a walk in rainfall shower. The generous double bedroom provides storage and hanging rail. Each room is accessed from the hallway with built in storage for outerwear.
Outdoors in Moffat
Moffat is an ideal location for getting active. The Southern Upland Way and Annandale Way can be accessed from the town, with the dramatic Grey Mare's Tail waterfall and Devil's Beeftub valley close by. With many local walks, golf club and tennis courts, there is no shortage of things to do in and around the town. Moffat has year round activities including Classic Car Rally, Golden Eagle festival, walking festival and monthly farmers market.
